This is a quick and easy pattern that results in a simple
cuffed bootie with no ties.
The type of yarn or size of needle will determine the size of these booties.)
Using a size 4 to size 8 needle and sport or worsted
weight yarn...
Cast on 28 stitches.
Knit 10 rows.
Row 11 Knit 11, K2tog, K2, K2tog, Knit 11
Row 12 Purl 10, P2tog, P2, P2tog, Purl 10
Row 13 Knit 9, K2tog, K2, K2tog, Knit 9
Row 14 Purl 8, P2tog, P2, P2tog, Purl 8
Row 15 Knit 7, K2tog, K2, K2tog, Knit 7
Row 16 Purl 6, P2tog, P2, P2tog, Purl 6
Rows 17-21 Knit 1, Purl 1 ribbing.
Row 22 Purl across.
Rows 23 - 30 knit.
Cast off loosely in knit. Break off yarn leaving
an adequate tail to sew back and sole seam.
With wrong sides together, seam Rows 23-31. Turn inside
out and finish sewing the back and sole.
Fasten off. Cuff folds over at the purled row.
Make another.
